They just realized that 11.99 and 15.99 are exorbitant prices to charge anyone for an album.

IMO, no album is worth more than 12 dollars.

No he is right, the album was like #50 before they decreased the price. but now it's back at #15

Discounting BTW on iTunes won't do much for it. The bulk of sales for the album will come from physical units, at this point. The Amazon deal sucked all of the digital sales pretty quickly.

Probably. The Amazon discount really screwed over physical retailers, they're gonna have a ton of extra copies.

While I'm not really worried about Born This Way's sales at this point (especially since it's doing great WW), they need to do something to sell those physical copies; the confidence of retailers has been shaken and they won't be quick to stock copies in the future.

No, her US sales, she's the 11th best-selling album and has sold more than Femme Fatale for example, and is 5k behind Rihanna

Its showing that Itunes had placed the album $2 higher than all the other albums... BTW was too expensive compared to the others. I guess Itunes/label thought they would milk and extra buck or two from customers. Its now priced around the same amount as the competitors(unless the competition has albums discounted).


and BTW has climbed back up, maybe because the albums that had moved up are now falling off.
