The latest time was her best, but there were still a few kinks, such as the "land of the FREE" was a bit shrill and uncontrolled; she may want to opt for a head note there next time. She was a mess in that one. Poor technique. Uncontrolled. It's one of the few times where I would say that she was getting shouty/yelly. She seemed caught up and a little overwhelmed by the platform, which is understandable. Considering her age, it was decent, but compared it is seriously lacking. And compared to her most recent one, it's complete rubbish.
I thought it was amazing at the time, but watching back I see how wrong I was. She wasn't terrible, but she had some pitch problems (consistently flat and sharp). She oversang in parts - the runs. Her vibrato was an uncontrolled mess.
Well, there's a difference in prefer and which one was technically better. Nothing I said in my post was a lie. You can prefer the old one, but the recent one was technically better sung.
I still LOVE it even tho it's a disney song.
