None of those dropped more than 60% after their peak album except Alanis. She is the exception.
But take pretty much any huge peak album era, and you'll see they rarely drop more than 60-70%.
Not even Britney or Norah Jones. Not Speak Now. Not Born This Way. Not Bad.
But yeah, obviously 21 is one of the most relatively successful albums of all time. Its only real competitors in my opinion are Thriller and Sgt. Pepper. On the one hand, Thriller is the best-selling album of all time, but Sgt. Pepper was probably the biggest disparity ever. It sold more copies in one year than The Sound of Music did throughout the entire 1960s, despite the fact that The Sound of Music was the best-selling album in
three non-consecutive years during the 1960s.
