lesson i learned: if he's hurting you often, don't keep starting conversations with him. you're just going to keep growing more attached the more time you spend with him. trust me, the breakup that really screwed me up would've been 1000x easier if i had followed that advice

another lesson: if your friends don't know the full context of a situation, they won't be able to give you good advice, so when it comes to deeply complicated and intimate things like romance, i wouldn't too much weight on anyone else's opinion except someone i've been telling about the situation for a long time

I think it's bringing out my flaws and insecurities
