I don't think it truly matters. My SO is into SNSD and likes a lot of groups im not into and I like a lot of groups he isn't into but we hop in to the car, bop to all the jams because we like to have a good time together and call it a day. Its only when you care more about an artist than a person that you shouldn't want them into Kpop. Like if they can't take any criticism of their fave group, I wouldn't want them to be into kpop or a kpop group.
