Occasionally the site will block certain IPs for an hour when the server is overloaded. Happens to me and other mods and members too. Try not to have too many tabs open and it usually helps avoid the issue for me.

how do you ban the thread starter (as recently decided by us) from a base thread? why would you do that? do the complaints of one (deranged and psychotic) member outweigh the rest of our opinions?
