Great episodes so far. I'm interested to see where Dany's storyline will go.. hopefully not a complete retread of the past. I like her becoming connected with the wives of the Khals. Best it come to use. Poor Osha though (and Rickon I guess). She's one of my favorite supporting characters and I've missed her - shame they'll both probably be dead before the season ends. Glad that Arya's storyline is going somewhere and I'm actually excited for Bran's.
Yeah great episode but boring in GoT standards:
The Bran flashback was too short, they should've just went on with it since we all know what it is about.
Sam & Gilly
Kings Landing scenes
Danny's scene was basically a rehash
Varys slayed
Tyrion not so much
Ramsay
Arya slayed as usual but I think non readers might not get everything that happens in her scenes.
You guys are forgetting the prophecy that Quaithe gave to Dany. "To move forward you have to go back".
Dany is back in Dothraki and was outstripped of her queenly things. She is going back to basics and will get humbled by wizened chicks. This is her training.
The best parts were the wall, the north and some of kings landing,
I loved Davo's talk with Jon! That was great.
Sam and Gilly are ok, the baby is really cute now.
Mereen is annoying as hell, Tyrion can die, his scenes are so annoying.
Vaes Dothrak.... meh, I don't care. Same for Arya getting beat up again.
Olenna shading Cersei over and over again.... love it! It's perfect she's in the Small Council, her and Kevan can really take control of the city, but I agree with Jamie, they should all unite.
No Sansa.... wtf, she's front and center for next weeks episode preview... Littlefinger too... though how is he going to explain to Yohn Royce that Sansa married into House Bolton, is he just going to admit he handed her over.
She's boring in the books too. All she does is whine and always needs to be saved. She's like part 1 Sakura from naruto.
Anya's character and storyline has always been better to me.
Yes! I think Arya's story is so fascinating. She's training to be an assassin basically and when she's done I bet she leaves and heads back to Westeros to **** **** up and reclaim her name.
It did feel like filler but it's hard to keep up with the level of greatness consistently. I hope they don't drag out the tower of joy too long. Next week looks slightly better.
