I'm sorry but the song that really got me into Ellie was Anything Could Happen. It's literally a masterpiece and if you disagree you have no taste and Satan has a place reserved for yor soul in hell
I didn't know what an Ellie Goulding was until she performed Anything Could Happen on X Factor AU. I liked her back then and stanned I Need Your Love and Burn so hard.
I am wanting to do more production and songwriting next year, and with my new earbuds I'm getting in a few days, it'll be nice to have a good use for them.
My story begins about a good 6 to 8 months before Lights smashed or so when I randomly stumbled upon Lights on YouTube and I automatically knew she was gonna be a favorite. I replayed Lights so much and spread it around my school, I honestly think it was me who made Lights a sleeper smash. I made all my friend listen to Lights so by the time I got my physical copy back it was really beat up.
Guns and Horsees is amazing. Ugh. Lights deserved so much more US success
Didn't you say you had no friends? Fan fic cancelled.

I'm not into Ellie as much as some of the posters here are but the Beats commercial made search for the Song
My favorite albums of the decade so far:
2011: Foster the People - Torches
2012: Ellie Goulding - Halcyon
2013: Minks - Tides End
2014: SOHN - Tremors
2015: Father John Misty - I Love You, Honeybear
2016: Tove Lo - Lady Wood
This year's was pretty hard since I didn't find any of the albums (that I listened to) that were released this year to be really interesting. That said, Lady Wood is great!
