They probably would have if not for the Sewol ferry thing. Even still, LUV >>>> Mr Chu any day. Mr Chu is just a rehash of NoNoNo to keep the momentum going whereas LUV actually brought something new to their discography.
and y'all tend to forget that AKMU released around the same time of "Mr. Chu", so even with the music shows they wouldn't slay that hard.
Just to use M!Countdown since the result there was the cutest, it went something like Apink got a #1, then kpop shut down, during which AKMU ran off an non-televised triple crown, so then when kpop returned, AKMU were already MNET ineligible, and Apink got their second consecutive televised #1. Or something strange like that.
Good, their music was getting stale/predictable anyways. They're DEFINITELY a performance group. Mr MMO was cute/great for a rookie group, but their music output needs to match the level they're at now.

A new light seemed to dawn upon my mind; and, bounding with joy, I communicated my discovery to my father. My father looked carelessly at the title of my single album, and said, "Ah! Catch Me If You Can! My dear Victor, do not waste your time upon this; it is sad trash."
Father Frankenstein dragging for FILTH with so few words. New ATRL meme?
