I was talking to this like 40 year old Madonna fan once, he was wearing an MDNA t-shirt and he was telling me all about how he remembers Vogue being released and how it was this big iconic moment and stuff. It was actually really interesting but also kind of strange at the same time.
I can't imagine sitting and talking to my kids about being a stan and stuff.
Imagine telling your children you were on a pop forum website where you dragged other pop stars for fun
I think Vespertine is the only other one in South Jersey I know of haven't seen him though. Imagine doing a full-blown meet up though I wonder how it would go
I don't mean this in a horrible way but most of my faves probably won't be around when I have kids. I stan for older artists.
I'll still play their music for my kids though. After all, I picked up my love of Kylie and Cher from my parents being fans. It would be nice if my kids shared some music interest with me too, it's kind of like passing our style down from generation to generation.
They might be around still if you get on that baby making train now
I get what you mean though. Although I like a lot of the artists that my mom likes, the only person that I stan for that I got from her was Beyoncé and Jay Z. Everyone else, my mom started stanning because I did
It was really powerful. I'm fascinated by 9/11 so I've been wanting to go since I was 10 () but there's so much stuff there and once you leave the museum and see the pools and where it all happened it's absolutely mind blowing. 10/10 would recommend.
