Country is such a...stagnant genre. Therefore, it's not fickle or constantly changing like pop and other genre's. It's very one dimensional in the sense that it's not really as crossover or mainstream as other genre's. You either like it or you don't. Most people that listen to country music are from certain areas, etc. It's way more than just the music, it's an entire lifestyle.
