New Navy: Heyyyyy welcome
___
Forbes has written some good articles about Rih. The Creepers are so successful they're comparing it to Jordans. Obviously Jordans retail for more but its pretty cool to see Rih's impact in the footwear industry.

About 30 millennials in San Francisco’s ultra-hip Hayes Valley neighborhood scored Rihanna’s Suede Creepers by Puma the morning of their release Thursday. The others left disappointed after a nearly immediate sellout of the “must have” shoes retailing at $140 per pair.
“Our shoppers like Rihanna’s style,” according to assistant manager Cameron Clines of Undefeated, a retailer specializing in athletic apparel for mavens of street fashion. “They have been anticipating this drop date for a while.”The kicks sold out quickly online as well, with the high demand reportedly crashing Puma’s website.

Rih also made history with her Dior sunglasses. No celebrity has ever designed with the brand

Rihanna should feel honored that this line is coming to fruition, as it makes her the first of Dior’s brand ambassadors to actually have a say over anything design-related. The luxury brand has a history of signing some of the best-known figures in the world for ad campaigns, but RiRi is the only one to date that has gotten her own line of anything.
With a new design project to her name, May 2016 is truly turning out to be one of the best months of Rihanna’s career. On top of making waves in the fashion world, the mogul has also launched a new scholarship program, and her music is performing exceptionally well on the charts. This week, she has two hits in the top ten, and just a short time ago she tied Michael Jackson for the third-most top ten hits of all time. On top of that, her album Anti is still selling frame after frame, and even though it was released back in February, the title hasn’t yet vacated the top ten.
