Wow. Fight Song's momentum just suddenly stalled. Reminds me of when "Earned It" was looking to explode the last week of March before the explosion of "See You Again" and the Easter sales rush sent it back down to earth in a week. Or when "Get Lucky" was looking to be the song of the summer before "Blurred Lines" came out of nowhere and ruined its party.
Speaking of Fight Song, I've never seen a girl get such a big hit and get so little buzz as an artist. Reminds me of how the GP loved "Am I Wrong" but didn't give a crap about Nico & Vinz.
It's far too early to tell what Rachel's fate will be (unlike OMI who screams one-hit wonder to me), but even if she doesn't exactly click with the GP, radio might be willing to give her a second shot. Just look what happened with Tove Lo.
