And a lot of similar comments. Kinda cool seeing people reacting to her good vocals, but I'm sick of people not knowing Rih could sing that well. Like, everytime she does an amazing job since 2009. You'll find people being surprised by how amazing her voice was.
What a shame that people underestimate her performing abilities.

I think (for me at least) the amount of soul in her voice has really been the biggest change. It started with FFS at the Grammys... but what she did on Sunday was something totally new for her. Fans know Rih's always been able to sing, but there's no way she could've done that at the 2012 Grammys, 2015 grammys, XFactor UK, etc.
We've always talked about her ability to emote but it's just gone to the next level now. I'm glad the New Orleans concert reviewer pointed out how soulful she sounds, because that was the first time it clicked in my mind. This performance just cemented it.
I'm just so excited to see what she does in the future.
