Because it makes no sense to me. On a literal level obviously it doesn't work (a ceiling can't be made of or filled with fate, like "house of cards" or "bag of apples") and on a metaphoric level (like in the term glass ceiling) it also doesn't make sense: fate implies that predetermination and there's no way to reach the limit of that, I guess unless it means death? Either way it's just a moment.
Ohh okay I was kinda playing with the air metaphor (the smothered line), maybe I'll explain it to you after the results
