Anyway I don't know who put out the best pop album this year between Charli and Sky, they both kinda emerged from nowhere to thrash the mainstreamers about.
I liked the songs we had already heard before True Romance was released (Nuclear Seasons, You're the One, Stay Away, and sorta/kinda Cloud Aura) and Grins, but that's it
Girlfriend is so iconic and still sounds really fresh. No wonder it was the 1st YouTube video to reach 100 and topped IFPI. The Empress was so creative in TBDT era re-inventing herself like that. The Canadian/Japanese Madonna
