I'm watching this Bruce Jenner thing on E! and the way he actually cornered the Kardashians
Doing it all by himself/herself, he/she literally gave them no room to be mad or arrange their own story. They had to DEAL with how he/she wanted to handle things.
Kind of annoyed with Brucella TransJenner tbh.

Illmatic doesn't really have bops but it's a hip-hop classic...same for most Nas albums
most of Jay-Z's early albums only had like 2-3 bops (Vol 1, Reasonable Doubt had none, etc)

Very few artists can survive on albums alone with no hits, this goes double for rappers. Good luck to him.

Kendrick & Drake are talking about doing an album together, so another commercial successful era is coming too.
Let him have all this critical acclaim that nobody else is getting.

Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse didn't have any success, and none of the singles would've did anything special, but it was a great album and I stanned for it rightfully with it's appealing current quality.
Sticking to theme, and making appealing music isn't hard, nor is it 'copping out'. Adele did it with 21, Ed Sheeran did it with x, Taylor did it with 1989.
To Pimp a Butterfly had a cute theme and nice lyrics, but where's the individual appeal in the songs? The bop factor. As I said, I don't wanna listen to a whole album.
The public agreed. It's not outselling GKMC in any form, nor having any notable single success.
Sorry, all truth.

Good at the public agreeing. They also agreed about Elusive, Looking 4 Myself and ARTPOP sucking. Where would you like to go with this?

You're an example of the mind set nowadays, people don't listen to albums anymore, and that's what Kendrick wanted to avoid, an album for people like you, he wanted his whole album to have a concept and speak to a certain group of people

Kendrick & Drake aren't doing an album, lols.

@Cap10: I just said MIAM had no songs that would've had strong success and she's 45. So mentioning it flopped isn't doing nothing?
@Sinister: You mistook what I said. I said in the previous post I don't wanna listen to a whole album each time. I have no problem listening to an album in general. I buy albums much much more than the average person.

I really don't get how some people still are calling J. Lo a global icon when her album just opened with 33K.

Trying to say the song is Kendrick's now.
Anything to discredit her.

I'm pretty sure in the Breakfast club interview or something he did like that when Butterfly was released he mentioned Drake too or am I getting it mixed?
No1Carrie for a J. Cole joint album tbh.

lol
the only real complaint i heard ppl have with this album is that he probably should've waited another album or two to put it out
ppl won't just forget about Kendrick considering he's the only one giving us those old-school realness...he'll be fine
