It sounds better than the snippet but all the EDM songs sound the same lately :/ It's not for his album but in my opinion it's not a smart move because most of his fans have high expectations for this era.
He should give us a memorable classic album tbh. I'm not saying 100% R&B also something like Climax, which was dope but please don't record that much EDM this era.
I don't think all EDM songs sound the same, that's like how those people who aren't into r&b or hip-hop say everything sounds the same. I will say a lot of mainstream tracks do sound similar, but that's because they are pop music.
That being said, nothing he has put out this era is worthy of being classic or memorable. "Clueless" was interesting but its a throwaway track that won't be on the album, while "I Don't Mind" is a hit though, but its like he doesn't even care about that song.
I'm always there for 100% mix of genre's like "Climax" but that's not what he going for. However I do agree, too much EDM isn't good, but this is his first EDM track since 2012. I think its fine, especially considering that retro sound is finally gone. But these R&B tracks he's putting out aren't special and sound dated to me.
It's for Martin's album but you know how some "fans" on GrapeJuice will spin this.
Also the tour was successful? I know OMG Tour did 75 million with 70 shows. I laugh at Wendy Williams for starting **** up. I'm sure early sales probably took a while to get going but lmao.
It's obvious I'm going to support every Usher record but I definitely prefer his classic RnB sound I still believe he is capable to release another classic album...
I enjoy every good song no matter what genre it is but most Usher fans think otherwise and that's why he should release a album which can be listed as a "classic" Usher album. People think he lost his way that's why he needs to prove them all wrong with this era otherwise he will really lose his status... he can't play with this era like "I don't care about sales/success, I'll just record music."
Most of you don't like IDM but I told y'all from the beginning it's a dope song. I also wrote IDM > SCTGITY & Good Kisser and see? I was right because people want songs like this from Usher. Just imagine he would start the era with a song like IDM people were so much hyped for this album but they f*cked up with Good Kisser. The same with Climax... everyone was so hyped for the album and then they f*cked up with Scream and most people lost interest on the album because they thought it will be a EDM/Pop album.
I have still big hopes for this album... hopefully they'll not disappoint us.
I kind like the new song but its very very very basic. It sounds like many other edm songs. Never been a fan of martin garrix's music anyway but I was hoping he would step up his game for this track.
Those two leaked records gives me a faith that this album is going to be pure RNB.
All Falls Down seems to be a little unfinished - but it's great. This song has a massive potential
I still believe he is capable to release another classic album...
