Taylor has had a very bad start to the year, what with tabloids making up a constant stream of lies about her, Tina's completely unfunny jibe (which I think was the permission slip for media to begin tearing her down) and people like this Jones Guy using her fame at her expense to further their own causes. That's what its all about for all of them, with no regard for Taylor the person.
We can only hope she can get strong enough to hold up under it all and learn from it and come out better than ever.
Because I believe in spite of her success and fame, at heart Taylor is still that insecure, wistful middle-schooler on the outside of the cool kids group, wanting to be let in. She can never be sure people (mainly her peers) approve of her. That's why those barbs by people like Blake and paisley and Tina hurt her so bad and make her doubt herself. And that's why she tends to go for these popular confident smooth talkers.
They are the cool, admired and envied ones, and (maybe unconsciously) she feels association with them will prove she's worthy to be loved. It really is all about love for her, I think; but what she needs to know is she don't need these guys to validate her worth. Not even when Mayer starts dating someone she thought was a friend after treating (Taylor) like she wasn't good enough.
I think that's was the main attraction of the styles kid. He was a "rock star " and tall and a smooth talker, along with other things, and she would have someone who didn't mind being public with her.
Anyway I don't know why I've written all this.
I only meant to say I hope she's learned her lesson about guys like Harry, young or old. And about how unscrupulous tabloids and news agencies are when it comes to money and hits, they will turn on her like wolves when public perception goes negative. As they have already.
I think style-less was mostly after her for bragging rights and publicity to further himself, as that type of Guy is too full of himself usually to consider the other person.
