Like I said, really good music will fix that. The Urban community is starting to warm up to her again. It's just the middle Americans acting up. Remember, the Mariah stuff is very fresh in their minds. Idol only ended under a month ago.

This is a very truthful post. 
Yes Middle white America are extremely judgmental & base their perception on an artist on the big headlines that spread negativity, & base that whole persons character on those headlines. The Urban community can also be extremely judgmental as well but I find that when Nicki does good things, they react positively instead of some of white America who still bash her no matter what she does.
As you said, GOOD music fixes that & I know if Nicki brings up the quality of her sound this next era & keeps her mind focused on positivity then most of the GP (Not just Urban) will start to respect her more again.

And all she has to do is stay dressing the way she is. Stay calm and relaxed like she has been doing on Twitter, interviews, etc.
She just needs a break from the GP in general. Her features are mainly for the urban crowd so she won't be on the pop charts and awards until next year. Her music just needs to be good also.
And the funny thing about all this is that Nicki doesn't even care what Middle America thinks of her. We as fans are the ones that's worried.

The thing with most artists like Chris is that they keep doing the same stuff over and over again. Obviously he isn't beating women, but he has that tantrum that never goes away. His music is good, but that personality is a no-no.
Nicki hasn't completely ruined her reputation yet. It's all up to her. Even if the music is good and she has success, her attitude is what really matters.

Don't act like PFRR is the only music Onika is known for to the GP. She has Fly, Super Bass, and Moment 4 Life, as well as BAAB and GOF late 2012.
Yall overestimate how much people genuinely care about this ****. Like, I don't understand why you base your perception of the GP on comments on Yahoo articles lol.

Like I said Middle America because all they really know from Nicki IS Stupid Hoe, PTA, SS, Super Bass, etc.
The ones exposed to the PF era were young adults, Urban community, and of course the people that knew Super Bass.
It's like this, imagine like I said you're a Middle American and this girl comes dressing crazily, repeating Stupid Hoe, cussing out a legend (who can do NO wrong. How DARE she cuss out a legend? Who is this bitch to do that)?
It's like, that's ALL they know, so of course they'll hate. I mean, Nicki's first impression for a percentage of Middle Americans was wearing that rainbow clown wig on the first episode of Idol. What are they supposed to think? I'm not saying I blame thing, because most are ignorant, close-minded, a bit racist, and idiotic people. But that's ALL they've been exposed to. What else CAN they think?
Yahoo was a bad example, because they hate everyone in the comments, but still I get what you mean. When Nicki went to that Oscar party, EVERY SINGLE URBAN BLOG AND URBAN BLOG COMMENTS were praising her. And then the Middle American blogs like Huffington Post (notice I said Middle American, not Liberal American) had hate in the comments.
But that's basically it, really.

Lol it's not just Yahoo. I just elaborated on my whole post on the post after that one. Doesn't some of your white ass family hate Nicki too?
I never said PFRR was all she's known for, so I don't know where you got that from. But as NICKI HERSELF said in the Hot 97 interview, Starships (and basically SH + the PFRR era in general) erased everything that she's done + accomplished in the past.
Of course Nicki has an assertive attitude that can be taken as her being a "bitch". That's also what they think.

The people checking for the Huffington Post are not the demographic Nicki markets herself towards. 
Most normal people don't spend their time commenting on blogs & things on the internet. It isn't a good representation of the general public. Radio + sales are.

My mom dislikes her because she's a BIT racist and she thinks Nicki is abrasive. She still has Fly on her iPod though.

"Most" normal people? I know a LOT of +35 people who casually go on blogs to keep up to date and occasionally comment. This is 2013. The Internet is an abundant global medium. EDIT: but I agree what psycho said about the blogs.
Sales are, but radio is controlled by radio programmers in the industry. It's not in any means a way to tell what the GP is thinking.
Even sales are questionable as a means of what the GP is thinking. A LOT of artists have maximum respect but people don't buy their music just because they don't buy music, hence why digital sales are at it's lowest in 2013 in a decade.

You can't just base your perception of what the GP thinks of Nicki based off these articles nowadays, especially from Yahoo & vice-versa. Its a bit of racism, ignorance, and close-minded people all in one, so take what you read with a grain of salt. I don't even look at that stuff anymore cause most of it is stupidity.
Just continue to support Onika and block out the haters.
Remember this barbs: The ones who loved her will always love her, the one who drifted away will eventually come back or stay away, and the ones who hated her will always hate her.

He did what I used to do. Constantly check and see if the public actually approved of her for once, but all I saw were these spiteful and ignorant comments that just annoyed me. I stopped that, because I realized nothing would change in the first place.
Now, I just listen and Stan for the music and don't really care of what the GP thinks, because most likely, it hasn't changed by now, it probably won't.
