I'm so confused as to what goes on in her head sometimes. It should be a mixtape, it's going to look weird and disjointed because Fantasea is a mixtape, and the second version is an album.

I think this is the exact case as part 1. It is in an album format due to the amount of tracks, but is still a mixtape for the fans. Just like how part 1 was heralded by the media as a trial-run album.
