1) Why would that excuse what we did, it didn't punish us at all tbh.
2) If Jesus and God are the same thing, did God kill himself to make himself feel better?
3) If Jesus and God are different, why would God want his son to die? If anything I'd be pissed at us for making him die.
4) Why would God not just punish us in the first place?
I digress. Devil Worship is so much less complicated

If you are new to it, yes it can be a bit overwhelming and thats why is always good to read it with someone that has experience, a senior pastor, or someone in a ministry.
1.God sacrificing his one and only son for the forgiveness of our sins was so we ourselves wouldn't have to pay for them. So regardless of whatever sins we commit we will go to heaven as long as we truly and whole heartily repent.
2.Jesus is God's son who is sitting at his right hand asking for our forgiveness.
3.God sacrificed his son so we could have eternal life, it was the ultimate price to pay and because he loves us so much, even if we turn away from him and we sin. See the first answer, that answers this question too.
4.See answer for question 3. He loves us too much and we're his creation. Also because of the covenant he made with Noah that he wouldn't destroy the population of this world again like he did with the flood.
Hope that helps answering your questions

- Following God isn't complicated people make it seem like religion is all about rules to follow and if we don't we will go to hell but it's not.
