- had things gone smoother I do think the album would've opened up with bigger numbers. People were anticipating Anti there's no denying that but as time went on and things like the AntiDiary got dragged out it likely turned casual fans off.

But hey the silver lining is because of the false start Rih was able to make her best music video to date w BBHMM..

Plus based on what Rih says when she talks about Anti I think she's very happy with the album, she's even jokes about people downloading it for free so if she does go the rest of the era w no promo I wouldn't be shocked. She's making plenty of money on tour & w her business ventures. She's certainly not stressing over chart positions or sales like fans on ATRL

She already made her money for ANTI via Samsung tbh.

Also I agree, if she wanted those sales she'd be promoting and clearly.....

I think she should continue with the cohesive sounding albums - ANTi was the first step in a very compelling direction.

Frankly, I really don't miss her doing (pure) pop or mainstream dance music at all. TIWYCF further proved that. I have noticed how I enjoy her current, urban-leaning (or whatever you'd describe it) sound far better and it also has a greater replay value for me personally. Sure, there could always be terrific WFL-level songs, but generally speaking I'd expect another pop record to be cute for a while, but wear off quickly. I can't see her going there anyway.

Speaking of TIWYCF, I was never crazy about it and I'm kinda over it already. Don't mind hearing it on the radio, but have basically no desire to play it voluntarily. Considering how it completely killed off KIB on pop radio, I will always view it in a negative light.

Try KIB & WFL. That said, both of those would probably fit in her top10, though. Work's a bit iffy, but close enough.
