I have no idea what JYP was thinking with that. It would be pretty apparent to anyone with half a brain the IDNaM would underperform in a KPop setting.
Korea + KPop + girl group + independence anthem = flop because you aren't ego stroking the uncle fans
However, Only You is successful because it DOES ego stroke uncle fans. Not surprising, kind of sad, but business is business.
IDNAM flopped because it was a bad beyonce ripoff. 2NE1 and Miss A have always been about girl empowerment and they've had plenty success that way.
