I keep forgetting the way the word 'tragic' is viewed on ATRL vs when I use it in real life

I also read something else about this guy with anterograde and retrograde amnesia, so basically he couldn't form any new memories or recall any of his old ones, and if you were to ask him a question, he would answer, and while he was answering the question he would forget what the question was and also what he had said like 6 words prior.

and omg there was also this other guy who had this interesting case where he couldn't make new memories either but only remembered a chunk of his life. He believed that he was in his 20's, although he was actually in his 50's. It was quite interesting.

I watched a video on youtube of an adult woman that had a kid that was like 10 years old, but she woke up one day and couldn't remember the past 15 or so years of her life and she thought she was still 13 and freaked out and started screaming when she learned she had a child. can you imagine if that was your mother

I don't even know. My Psychology teacher handed it out last week. It was about 20 pages long, but I'm sure it was just an excerpt. The case studies were compiled into some piece that a Psychologist wrote a while ago. He basically conducted a longitudinal study with some guy (the one who believed that he was younger than he actually was due to his severe memory loss), and then talked about some other cases he'd read about.
