I don't see how she can justify spending a 1/2 trillion a year, when all is said an done, on free school but can't commit to building a wall. A wall that if build correctly will take minimal amounts of money to maintain compared to her yearly money grab.

I would be more in favor of a loan system based on performance, if you pull a 4.0 then apply a formula to reduce the cost of the student loan and allow this to scale down to 3.0. Otherwise you are going to have a lot of kids partying their asses off on our tax dollars with no incentive to do well.

We should also be moving towards nano degrees which she does mention. There is no reason to make a computer science major take a load of unrelated classes just to fill in a 4 year degree. They can engage the tech companies to figure out what they are most in need of and adjust their classes to accommodate the trends.

The #BlackLivesMatter protesters were coming to Tuesday's event to ask Clinton questions during her public forum about mass incarceration. After the protesters told a reporter from The New Republic that they were attending, the protesters showed up slightly before the event started and, according to the Clinton campaign, were not allowed into the main event because the room has been shut down due to capacity by the United States Secret Service.

On the Nordics: while it's true they get free college, it only covers tuition and maybe room and board (depends). Everything else can turn out being get it yourself and with such a high standard of living, renting places ain't cheap - like my Norwegian friend told me once: don't visit the country if you don't already have a place to stay. He also said the high prices trickle down from luxuries to everyday items - people drink in groups/house parties THEN they go to bars to have a drink or two because alcohol is so expensive (one example of what people do to save money).

It would take ages, if ever, to get their model to our country of 300 million and while the benefits look tempting we'll be 1. taxed out the ass (which is most people's worst nightmare)

and 2. almost everything will be pricey. To me the pros outweigh the cons (just my opinion), but try convincing enough of the public/government.

I don't think so. They are going to let him keep making stupid comments and cover him, it's in their best interest to let him self destruct.

PPP has his favorable/unfavorable at 46/40 now contrast that with Carly 56/15, which is crazy considering in April she didn't even register on their poll. Essentially there is no more upside to Trump but when you look at Carly the sky is the limit as long as she does not stumble she will continue to climb. That's asking a lot of anyone but she seems pretty focused and on point.

Also, Trumps numbers are dropping in NH and in his own words, by a lot... I think 10% in the latest poll.

The fact that Trump is leading ANY poll is baffling. If he is the nom running a year from now I will be very unpleasantly surprised. What a complete **** show of these polls hold (although I was told IRL that these polls don't really matter?).

They do matter, but people will discredit when they don't like the results. However, popularity doesn't necessarily equal voter turnout.

Why is it so hard for people to believe that people actually agree with Trumps policy points? That people want less immigration and better trade deals? He doesn't need too be specific if he's the only one with a stance people like.

A first term president isn't specific. Obama wasn't specific during his first run for president. That's for sure.
