I techincally came out to my family tonight, by updating my relationship status. Some of my family has been supportive, well others have been downright racist.

The actions have primarly been because I'm dating an Asian.

One of the messaged went along the lines:

"What the hell is wrong with you? Why on earth would you even think about date someone like that." It included some racist words I won't repeat.

I know I sound naive but I can't believe people still think like that when it comes to interracial dating, especially in a first world country. Like who cares. And it's not like one of you is gonna get pregnant if they're worried about mixed race kids or whatever

I'm kind of freaking out

My school just sent me an email saying that since I haven't made my first payment that I am pretty much taken out of my classes till I do, but I haven't made it because my State Scholarship should pay for the first and part of the second payment but it hasn't yet

I know at the beginning of last year it didn't take affect till the first day of school but I can't afford to pay for anything till pay day next week

Some of my family members are so damn racist. They are literally the sterotypical rural Albertian.

I'd love to bring my boyfriend to meet my family, I'm just scared they will try to sabotage our relationship.

I just had a semi awkward moment, I was walking home from work and my cat was on my lawn, so I started to talk to her and call her as I got closer and only realized that somebody was sitting in the car out front when I passed it. There was a guy in it and I think he thought I was talking to him

The kitten I rescued could have rabies (She has a bite wound)... she's being kept in the carrier. If she shows symptoms after 6 months, she's being put down but if she doesn't show signs, she's alright. I'm praying that she is rabies-free.
