Chart Analysis
Well idk what to say, its been so long. Stand Up by Cheryl Cole (at the time) is one of those songs I could imagine grooving to at club or something. Its a shame this masterpiece of an album cut will remain an album cut. Sure lyrically its a boring song, but I got my life from this song when I discovered it sitting in my music collection. Plus I was avoiding caring about her then current single I Don't Care. This will become her 3rd official #1 for this countdown.

Thanks to Pedro's Choose the album game, Good Night, Good Morning (my last song I submitted to the game) surged up the countdown this week. Also notice my #14 entry Perfect surging up the chart. Yes I was deciding between these two songs for the competition, but I was much more confident in Good Night, Good Morning at the time.

Not much other big news from my updated top 5 as Get Your Shine On, This Is How We Do & Boom Clap are still present big hits, Up and coming songs from HyunA, The Saturdays, Brett Eldredge, and maybe Becky G will do well on the countdown. Be sure and see in the coming updates (one per page still lol)

I ended up downloading Dustin Lynch's album because my library was giving it away for free.

I haven't listened yet though. Is Justin Moore his rival? I'll check him too.

Chart Analysis
Well another week (and a long delay) and here we find more pop music being thrown into the upper echelons of my countdown. Stand Up by Cheryl Cole still dominates the countdown for a second week at the top with virtually no competition for the #1 spot. As re-entries like Monster by Lady Gaga and Cherish by Madonna show up to the #2 and #3 spot respectively, it goes to show any of the "current" music I was listening to over summer has phased out HARD enough for recurrents to go super high on my countdown. However in more new music affairs, Not Giving Up by the Saturdays makes a huge splash to #4 as I finally discovered a good song of theirs to bop to since...erm...30 Days .

Now with a title I have for this update, you would think the countdown has little to no country music on it, not true. Get Your Shine On by Florida Georgia Line hangs onto the top 5 at #5, Tim McGraw's Meanwhile Back At Mama's shockingly makes the top 10. It is Tim's second top 10 single after Southern Girl, which peaked at #2 in June/July ish. Luke is also top 15 with a bullet on his 6 week #1 Play it Again (#12).

...but I digress. HyunA's Red still hangs at #6, This Is How We Do by Katy Perry drops to #7, Habits (Stay High) by Tove Lo skyrockets from 31 to 8 this week, and Shake It Off stays at #9 this week. All these pop tracks show who is winning overall in the countdown, and there is no denying Country music is taking a seat....for now
