The reason I say it'll flop, if that comment was directed toward me, is because it seems like she's trying to milk Girlfriend for all it's worth. I honestly think people would appreciate a new song rather than a revamped version of an old one. And how are people haters for having a couple of negative opinions? I don't consider myself a hater. I like her music. I listen to it. But I dont like the way she's doing things- is that particularly hateful?

I think that the remix will definitely help out Lil Mama. Isn't it ironic that her song "Lip Gloss" is set to go for adds this Tuesday. I mean, there are stations that are spinning the "Girlfriend" remix like crazy. Case in point WRVW in Nashville recently put the remix into all-day rotation. They went from playing "Girlfriend" 50x/wk to 95x! Huge spins again, now for this song. Look at Lil Mama's performance on TRL. The video is huge now for "Lip Gloss." I think Mama did a fantastic job on the remix.
