Emily really gets the most romantic scenes with her partners. The one with Paige last night, and the one with Maya were they have sex the first time was soo much better than what the other girls have gotten.
My theory is that the text Hanna gets from A, threatening Caleb, is actually from Caleb which is why he says "I'm A" in the promo.
I think he sent it to her as a way of making sure she shows up so they can talk. In the promo you also see him leaning in to kiss her and she doesn't look very happy about it. So, that's what I'm guessing.
Ew, I hope they don't make Caleb/Spencer a thing. That would make me like Spencer less.
I highly doubt they will. The writers like Spoby and Haleb way too much.
Spencer and Caleb's friendship, however, is something I'm looking forward to. Their scenes together are awesome
Caleb & Spencer aint happening... in the Halloween episode Spenc & Toby are dressed as Rose & Jack from Titanic. i believe they're going as a couple.
and of course Caleb is not A.
That Bianca gorl who plays Maya is such a bad actress i cant even
The poem Maya was reciting on her website.
Quote:
To his Coy Mistress
by Andrew Marvell
Had we but world enough, and time,
This coyness, lady, were no crime.
We would sit down and think which way
To walk, and pass our long love's day;
Thou by the Indian Ganges' side
Shouldst rubies find; I by the tide
Of Humber would complain. I would
Love you ten years before the Flood;
And you should, if you please, refuse
Till the conversion of the Jews.
My vegetable love should grow
Vaster than empires, and more slow.
An hundred years should go to praise
Thine eyes, and on thy forehead gaze;
Two hundred to adore each breast,
But thirty thousand to the rest;
An age at least to every part,
And the last age should show your heart.
For, lady, you deserve this state,
Nor would I love at lower rate.
But at my back I always hear
Time's winged chariot hurrying near;
And yonder all before us lie
Deserts of vast eternity.
Thy beauty shall no more be found,
Nor, in thy marble vault, shall sound
My echoing song; then worms shall try
That long preserv'd virginity,
And your quaint honour turn to dust,
And into ashes all my lust.
The grave's a fine and private place,
But none I think do there embrace.
Now therefore, while the youthful hue
Sits on thy skin like morning dew,
And while thy willing soul transpires
At every pore with instant fires,
Now let us sport us while we may;
And now, like am'rous birds of prey,
Rather at once our time devour,
Than languish in his slow-chapp'd power.
Let us roll all our strength, and all
Our sweetness, up into one ball;
And tear our pleasures with rough strife
Thorough the iron gates of life.
Thus, though we cannot make our sun
Stand still, yet we will make him run.
Marlene King on losing Maya, Paige's return and the "Now and Then" TV show
Marlene King will not tell me who A is. With her partner by her side, I wonder if even she knows. It's got to be tough to keep the secret from everyone when it's what every Pretty Little Liars fan is dying to know.
"Can't say," Marlene said at a TCA event at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills last night. "Some day you'll find out." Will it be this season? She smiled. "Sort of."
Considering it's only Season 3 and the executive producer said she sees it going "through to Season 6," we might have to wait a long time. "It was five but now I feel we have a great story for six," she said of how long she sees the series continuing on ABC Family. "Then I feel like we have a great ending that could lead us to a movie after that. That's my hope and I think it's Warner Brothers' hope, too."
There's a lot to work with, especially since time moves very slowly in Rosewood. "The Pretty Little Liars are seniors," Marlene said. "I think they're going to be seniors for a long time. They were juniors for two years, so they'll probably be seniors for three years." It works out well, Marlene said, as "most episodes are an hour later, an hour later, an hour later." It's like 24 with more estrogen and less national politics.
Last night's episode of Pretty Little Liars had some great scenes between Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Paige (Lindsey Shaw) — including a tandem breast stroke situation — and Marlene teased a little bit of what is coming up for the seemingly happy couple. "I'll just tell you there's a big sort of twist coming up in that relationship and it's exciting. But I did love tonight's episode. For me, those two have chemistry. I know the Emayans will be sad to hear that, but I think if they gave Paige a chance, they'll see there's a spark between these two."
Killing off Emily's first real love, Maya, has been a difficult thing for PLL fans, and Marlene said it was hard for her, too. "It was something that I really did struggle with. It's not easy to know the hardship it's going to cause people when you kill off a character. But I will be honest: I don't think I knew how much it was going to affect people. I underestimated how devastating it would be to a huge block of our fans."
One thing that has happened this season has been the development of a friendship between Emily and Maya's cousin, Nate. While viewers are worried things might turn toward romantic, Marlene won't say much either way. "I think it's natural for them to think that," she said. "I think that he offers some things to Emily that is significant in terms of his connection to Maya and vice versa."
While Maya is considered to be Emily's first real love, she did have something more than friendship with Allison. I wondered if Allison returned the feelings Emily had for her, or just wanted to toy with her.
"I think it's a little of both," Marlene said. "I think you may find out as the show goes on that Allison liked to dabble a little bit. It wasn't just for toying purposes."
While the other PLLs were "clueless" about Emily and Allison's relationship, they have always been supportive of their gay best friend, which is refreshing to see and makes it easier to tell multiple stories and subplots on the show.
"I just feel like it's a responsibility as a human being to portray every kind of individual and different character you can and put them in a setting that is hopefully non-judgmental," Marlene said. "For me, it really was — I wanted to give Emily acceptance by her friends. Parents was a different thing. But i wanted to say let's set the tone for the scenario for Emily Fields: She comes out to her friends and they accept her unconditionally because I feel energy breeds energy."
"What Lies Beneath" August 14, 2012
After learning that Noel and his family's cabin had something to do with "that night" and possibly Maya's disappearance, the girls work to try and put the pieces together. Hanna and Emily head out to the Kahn family cabin looking for clues linking Maya to the site, while Spencer does some snooping of her own on Noel. Could Noel have had a hand in this after all, or are he and Jenna just bluffing to send Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer down the wrong path?
Meanwhile, Aria must deal with the aftermath of meeting Ezra's mom and the information about Ezra's past.

Emily is breaking up with Paige for what Spencer told her about Paige's violent past with Alison and responsible for her death.
We get so over-excited just thinking about the next new Pretty Little Liars episode coming up on Tuesday that we sometimes forget that there are episodes after the summer finale. Luckily, Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with PLL’s Brendan Robinson (Lucas) at the Staples for Students Teen Choice Awards after party at The Globe Theater in Universal City, CA on Sunday, July 22, to talk about the upcoming Halloween episode (including Adam Lambert’s role) and what the cast is like when they aren’t filming.
Wetpaint Entertainment: Is Lucas creepy and adorable at the same time? Brendan Robinson: I will try to pull that off. If I can. I don’t know if it’s even possible but yeah we’re in the middle of filming our Halloween episode right now. Adam Lambert is guest starring. He starts tomorrow. He will be on set with us and it’s going to be a scary, scary episode. I’m not saying that Adam Lambert is scary though. That’s not what I’m saying. He’s playing himself so he’s not like A or something.
Is Lucas going to have any involvement with him?
Lucas will be in the Halloween episode but I cannot say whether or not he will be involved with Adam Lambert in any capacity. I guess you’ll have to watch and find out.
What’s going on with Hanna and Lucas?
It’s a rocky relationship. I’d be interested to see if it goes back to where it was at the beginning of the series where it was a kind of flirtatious but cute relationship but right now it’s up and down. It’s on the rocks. It’s not on the rocks. It is all up in the air right now.
You work with a lot of beautiful women on set. Do you have any on set crushes?
Well who doesn’t have a crush on Lucy Hale, please! I mean all of them are stunningly beautiful.
It’s not a bad set to be on for a guy?
Yeah it’s not a bad situation.
Are you guys close? Do you hang out off set?
I’m really good friends with Janel Parrish. She plays Mona. We go out to the movies and get coffee and stuff. We have a good time.
What’s the last outing you all did as a cast?
We did a couple of photo shoots recently, which were big cast photo shoots. That’s kind of a work related outing. Oh. We all went to one of our directors – Norman Buckley, his partner is a painter and he had an art gallery showing and so the cast went to this art gallery showing. It was a really nice night. It was cool.

Secrets are the main form of currency in Rosewood, which makes Pretty Little Liars creator Marlene King the richest woman in town. But I'm about to let you make like Scrooge McDuck and dive into a treasure trove of teasers she spilled to TheInsider.com!
From Ezria's rocky road to "A's" master plan, Marlene answered all my burning questions about season 3A, which wraps up on August 28 with a finale she calls TK!
TheInsider.com: You had a lot of balls in the air coming in to season three given the Mona reveal and needing to introduce a new "A" -- how did you prioritize the storytelling? Marlene King: We worked backwards -- I started thinking about what season three would be, and how we would recreate "A" before we gave up Mona as "A." Unless we had a plan in place for that, we couldn't pull it off. We started talking about this new, greater "A" -- and we got so excited. It was guns blazing. I know for a lot of shows, season three is the year to slow down, but for us, this is the season to show everyone what we're made of.
Insider.com: I think you did a great job introducing a new "A" without invalidating the Mona reveal -- how planned out is that portion of your story? Marlene: There's a masterplan for "A" that would carry us through six seasons -- Mona is the foundation for that plan and each season we will add a layer to that. As exciting as it was for us to reveal Mona as "A," we're even more excited about where this "A" Train is going.
Insider.com: Does the "A" Train function as a team, or are there times when the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing? Marlene: I can't answer that ... I feel like it might give something away. But I will say, by the end of season three, there will be another fun twist that will be very satisfying to viewers in terms of the "A" storyline.
Insider.com: This year's big mystery has been about "That Night" and what happened to Emily. What's your timetable for revealing that in full? Marlene: Most of what happened that night will be discovered by the end of the summer season. There are a few pieces from that night you won't find out until we come back in the winter with season 3B.
Insider.com: Is there a time jump between 3A and 3B? Marlene: Unlike last year, this year's Halloween episode will not be a prequel. This year, the Halloween episode is a connective piece for the two seasons. You could watch it as a fun mini-movie, but we end 3A a few weeks before Halloween and come back with 3B a few weeks after Halloween.
Insider.com: Did that make it exponentially harder to script the special? Marlene: Yes! [laughs] Last year, I had the luxury of writing it practically before the season began because it was a prequel. This year required a lot of special handling because it had to stay true to the current mythology to the show.
Insider.com: What made Adam Lambert a good fit for the Halloween episode? Marlene: Everything! His look, who he is, the songs he sings (Cuckoo and Trespassing off his sophomore album) -- it feels like those songs are perfectly written for the Halloween episode of PLL. It was so much fun and great having him involved.
Insider.com: I feel like The PLLs have grown up a lot this season. They're older and wiser -- is that necessary since their foes will keep getting more intelligent as well? Marlene: Absolutely. As these events have happened to them, it feels logical and realistic that they would become wiser and more mature and make better decisions than they did in season one. A lot of times it was their poor judgement that got them into trouble with "A" -- and this time, "A" has an agenda and is using them as opposed to the PLLs falling into an "A" trap.
Insider.com: Will the answers we get in the finale inform events from seasons one and two (Jason, Club NAT, Garrett, etc...)? Marlene: Yes, absolutely. Especially talking about the big season finale. Everything comes together in such a beautiful way, it puts a smile on my face. It all comes back to The First Secret, which was last year's Halloween episode.
Insider.com: Which obviously had a lot to do with Mona and Jenna. How much will they play into this year's finale? Marlene: With Mona in the asylum, it was great to have Jenna in the PLLs face as the current threat. But we will continue to see more and more of Mona throughout the season.
Insider.com: Last week Mona directed Hanna towards a Maya-centric website. What's going on there? Marlene: The website really is a link for the PLLs to find out more about Maya and the events that happened around her death. It's going to open up the mythology of that night for the Pretty Little Liars.
Insider.com: Could a keen-eyed PLL fan figure out the password? Marlene: I think some fans have already figured it out -- I've seen correct answers on Twitter.
Insider.com: I would imagine bringing a website into the equation means Caleb becomes integral once again. Marlene: He does! Spencer enlists Caleb's help unbeknownst to Hanna in this search for the new "A" -- and although they're just friends, those two have amazing chemistry together. Behind the scenes, we were all blown away by it.
Insider.com: Working off what you just said, it's clear you want the audience to think the girls would ever steal one another's boyfriends. How important is that distinction? Marlene: It's extremely important. The mystery and deliciousness is the icing on the cake, but the cake is the friendships these girls have. In the books, the girls never re-bonded after Ali's death. For us, it was important to reconnect them. At its core, Pretty Little Liars is a coming of age story about these four friends.
Insider.com: Fans were caught off guard by Ezra's sock drawer full of cash last week -- does that play into tonight's episode? Marlene: It's definitely part of that story. Tonight's episode is going to be a fun episode for Ezria fans because you meet Ezra's mom and there are some surprises and secrets exposed in the episode that really illuminate a lot about his character -- and that rocks the foundation of their relationship as well.
Insider.com: Is there a sense that this is their comeuppance for Ezria since they have gotten off pretty easily in coming out of the couple closet? Marlene: A bit, yes. There's definitely a lot of soap story they're going to be involved with in the remainder of 3A that's totally not related to "A" -- it's a personal story and really fun for those characters to see them stretch and grow in that relationship on a human level.
Insider.com: Looking at the final stretch of season 3A episodes, how would you tease them? Marlene: I think they lay the groundwork very nicely for a huge culmination of these threads and mysteries to pull together towards the end of the season -- at the same time, there are shocking revelations along the way. People should always be prepared that no one is safe in Rosewood. No one is safe from "A" or safe from the dark underbelly of this town.
Pretty Little Liars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
Pretty Little Liars' Keegan Allen: Toby "Might Be Vulnerable" to "A" - Exclusive
Are Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Toby (Keegan Allen) dunzo? On last night’s episode of Pretty Little Liars (Season 3, Episode 8: “Stolen Kisses”) we saw Spencer and Toby get into a big fight. However, Keegan Allen told Wetpaint Entertainment at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards that the “boys” will play a much larger role in helping the girls with “A”. So, does this mean that Toby and Spencer will make up? We hope so!
Read on to find out Keegan’s thoughts on “A” and much more!
Wetpaint Entertainment: It looks like the guys finally get to step up and do something? Keegan Allen: Yes. The guys do get to do this. And when they take action it’s going to be mind blowing, the finale. Also up until the finale, Toby goes looking for answers, and he might be vulnerable to “A”.
He’s known about “A” for a while. What makes him more aggressive at this point?
Mainly, I think because he and Spencer are really in love. If you love someone and they keep something from you, it’s really heartbreaking. So he might just go and try to figure it for himself.
The girls have always been hesitant about letting each other know that their significant others are aware of “A”. Will everyone now know that there’s a bigger team working against “A”?
It could be true, and it could not be true. The guys, they’re there for the girls. They’re there to help the girls in any way they seem necessary, but we’ll see what happens. I don’t want to give too much away.
Wouldn’t it be great if next season is just the guys going up against “A”?
Yeah. That would kind of cool.
The Handsome Liars.
To be honest with you, I don’t know if the guys could take the torture that these girls go through on a daily basis with “A”. I know I couldn’t. I wouldn’t be able to deal with it. I would call the police and like hide. I’d move away. Move out of Rosewood.
Anything you can tease about the Halloween episode?
Yes. It’s on a train. Adam Lambert is going to sing. I’m very excited.
Are you a fan?
I really like Adam. He’s got an incredible personality, and a really, really cool voice, and he’s very talented. We’re really lucky to have him on the show.
Is Toby as upstanding as we think he is?
Yes. I can answer that, honestly. Toby is very upstanding. He’s a very cool character.
Have you thought about him having a dark side we’re not aware of?
I have, of course. Everybody’s thought about it. I mean, of course, right? I don’t know how I would react to that as Keegan. I would be interested to see how the fans react to any kind of craziness that goes on.
But you’re not like sitting at home hoping that there’s like a dagger in your shoe?
No. Not at all. He’s the one person in Rosewood that everybody can rely on.

- First appearances of Eric Kahn (Robbie Amell) and Wesley Fitzgerald (Gregg Sulkin).

- Spencer says that she drove Toby out of town and that she has to get him back.
- At the party, Aria and Spencer talk about Toby.
- Hanna and Caleb kiss.
- Noel Kahn and Jenna challenge Aria and Spencer to a game of truth.
- Spencer tells Hanna that when Toby comes back she hopes he is in one piece.ž
- Noel confronts Aria about her relationship with a former teacher.
Wow, was that supposed to be Ezra's secret? I'm not sure whether that was supposed to mean he has a kid or the Maggie chick got an abortion but that's not really shocking...
Wasn't that big of a deal but still something that shook their relationship. I don't think anyone would be happy to hear such a secret, especially from someone else.
"Oh. My. God. Those are the only words I have for this episode," teases Ashley Benson, whose Hanna is clearly having a rough time at Rosewood's latest crime scene in Pretty Little Liars' August 28 mid-season finale. Where is Emily? And why are the cops so interested in talking to Paige (Lindsey Shaw)? All Benson offers is that "people get hurt...there might even be a death. It's the most intense episode we've shot so far."
Executive producer Marlene King won't spill if someone else does die, but she will confirm something fans will be happy to hear: "You will definitely find out who killed Maya," King says of Emily's slain former love. "I actually like to think of this episode as justice for Maya."
