thank you matty for the amazing banner!
[episode 8 - levelheaded - the entries]
here are the entries for episode 8, levelheaded:
the gretchens
mentor: ChapStick
1. Nait Phoenix
2. ắttitudé
the reginas
mentor: Regina George
1. Doc
It's no secret that I love Mariah Carey, and that I've never been here for Madonna. But regardless
of how I feel about Madonna, I cannot deny how fierce she is. She and Mariah are both fierce
artists, and their ferocity has made them into music legends.
Mariah is fierce because she's a diva and she knows it. But despite of that, she still remains
grounded and friendly. Only a fierce woman could have 18 number one hits, 17 of which she
has writing credits, 14 of which she has producing credits, and she holds the record for the
longest number one song ("One Sweet Day" - 16 weeks). Only a fierce woman could have sold
200 million records in just around 20 years. And let's not forget about her voice, akin to the
melodic beauty of a bird's, and the impeccable quality of her music. Mariah Carey is truly fierce.
Madonna is just as fierce as Mariah is. Known for her tough personality and intelligent shade,
Madonna has the ferocity of a lion and isn't afraid to roar back. Madonna has sold 275+ million
records, making her the best selling female artist of all time — only a fierce woman could. She's
also had the most Top 10 singles, the most Top 40 singles by a female, and 12 number one
hits. Her videos are another reason why she's such a fierce woman. Videos for her songs such
as "Vogue", "Like A Prayer", and "Like A Virgin" have become iconic and have had a profound
effect on pop culture.
Madonna and Mariah: the two fiercest women in pop culture of our generation.
1. Doc
Ke$ha:
The dollar in her name is a statement by itself, K$' the new bitch in the blog, and she's here to stay, with back-to-back top-ten million selling singles,. she's always regarded as the "underdog" of the female industry, yet she outsells *insert female fave here*'s lastest single, she ***** on you and you will deal accordingly
Red Hot Chilli Peppers:
Probably one of the last standing rock icons from the 1990's they just have everything an artist needs to be accomplished: grammy nominations for their weakest album, commercial success, #1 album, successful catalogue, they are a prominant power in the industry.
Lil' Wayne:
Definiton of badass, he's always found success, he currently owns a successful label for young emerging rappers, wich is admirable, he probably rules most of the industry with Young Money.
All are badass, fearless and not afraid to express their mind.
the cadys
mentor: ChapStick Deuces.
the karens
mentor: Mitchie

Looking back at the entries, why did no one else even mention the word "fierce"?
EDIT: Actually, Diego did.

I really just took the "artist you like/artist you don't really like" route and described them in my own way. Not every artist I like (or dislike) is fierce, but they each have a quality that makes me love them.

thank you matty for the amazing banner!
[episode 8 - levelheaded - the eliminations]
it's been a while since we had an actual elimination...
i'm going to make this quick.
first, to crown this round's queen bee! HOWEVER, because there will only be 3 contestants left after this round, the queen bee will NOT be immune from elimination next round.
this contestant has been bringing it consistently round after round, so i say, with pleasure, that the queen bee is....
Doc!
remember, you are no longer immune from elimination, but if you keep it up you won't have to worry about that!

with that out of the way, it's time to announce the contestant who is leaving the competition.
if you compare your entries to the others i'm sure it's clear why you're going home. i'm proud of you for lasting this long in the competition.
the next challenge will be posted sometime tomorrow! there are only TWO CHALLENGES left! who will be our first winner of populATRLity? will it be Doc? Nait Phoenix? ắttitudé?
