Another book-based movie hits the countdown and features another good selection of its cast. Spearheaded by Lerman,Miller and Watson, the movie takes place in the 90's that tackles some issues of teens back in the day. I really liked the nostalgic treatment and the dreamy atmosphere in the movie that helped in making the setting believable. It surely helps when the writer of the book also directed the movie. Though I wish they didn't cut out an important scene regarding the sister of Lerman's character played by Nina Dobrev, the sequences of events still flowed smoothly. This movie made me think back of my days as a teen and made me regret how I did not live it to the fullest and a lot of wasted opportunities that I missed. I still recommend everyone to read the book though to know more about the whole story.
