Alot of songs went down posituons cause of the VMA effect and Lil' Wayne's songs. Don't worry once the hype stops, In The Dark will go top 30/20
but Dev song has over 30m AI by the radios. With this AI the song should be in top30 on itunes not depend on any other shows or album release effects...
In the dark was last week #31-32 now out the top50... but the radios want to make this song hit, so next week the song should finally increase on the chart with another +20 stations add... song is overvalued a little bit...

I wouldn't be surprised if Foster The People and Adele go back and forth at #1 on the Hot 100.

I kinda would be. I don't think Adele's giving up #1 in sales anytime soon.
I could see Foster take #1 the week after this coming week once VMA mania simmers down, but beyond that, Adele's going to absolutely dominate.
Still, Adele's also just about the only artist that wouldn't annoy me if they kept Foster out of #1, and "Someone Like You" deserves all the success it is getting right now and then some.

It probably won't do as well on pop, but I would be shocked if SLY didn't match or surpass RITD's run on AC. It's the perfect storm of the right song at the right time.
