Funky! This was initially included on the Step Up soundtrack (remember Step Up!? Ha!) and later as the b-side to Lil Star. Luckily it is much better than Lil Star, and in-fact deserved a place on the album proper seeing as it beat all but 2 tracks from it. This is just right, one of the most fitting titles in the rate. It's not as extra as some of the album tracks from that time and could've easily even been a single. There's a video with this track name with some other mess of audio completely unrelated to Kelis, but it has 1mil + views so clearly her name it's draw >
Letting 11-giver
ECNEICSNOC go on a bit, "While some of today’s pop girls are obsessed with the sound of 80s pop, Kelis was way ahead of the curve by channeling the real good stuff: 80s funk and R&B. The baseline is GODLY."
HonourableVomit gives us insight on why it may have been chosen as the good sis' 11, "Shame it was just a forgotten flop soundtrack cut, it'd fit nicely on Damita Jo." Explains it all!
