Look at japan, artists still smash with album sales over there and they usually release more than half of the songs on an album before its release.

YG albums especially 2NE1 are not loaded with filler tracks especially their latter albums since their first full album out of 12 songs, 10 were released.

their 2nd mini had all the songs released that explains why this only got less than 100k on its active months in SK.

their first mini which is their debut had only 2 songs out of 7 released which is now in almost 200k of sales.

In SK album life is short and people will tend not to buy the album if more than half of the album is released digitally which is ALWAYS the case for YG. Unless they change it and have 10 plus tracks but YG doesn't want fillers as much as possible.


Music market in SK is totally different than US. I think YG's promotion is better in US
