Wezzer's album this year and The Vaccines from last year are really melodic indie rock.
In fact they are kinda more pop-rock with a slight indie edge.
The Vaccines have a song, Dream Lover, which exactly sounds like a cut from AM.

The ArchAndroid or The Electric Lady or The Audition?
I mean The Electric Lady is nice but it's a no brainer. The ArchAndroid is one of the most flawless debuts of the decade. With that being said, I wonder when Ms. Monae is releasing.
Hopefully it's as good as Present Tense.
