I hope the Calais accident isn't related if confirmed, Calais is way closer to me. But anyway I am safe I feel really bad for the people out there in paris
OMG that Gare du Nord video literally I've been there
I feel like Calais is too far for this to be connected (unless it's a separate cell).
My mom just came to my room because her coworkers told her about the news and she started crying asking me if my sister is safe. At least I know she came back from work hours ago and she's sleeping, because I was on the edge of a mental breakdown
There's also a short vid of people running, the poster claims it's people running from Gare du Nord, can anyone confirm whether it actually is? https://instagram.com/p/-CssXetCp-/
Edit: location is on, it's actually Gare du Nord
It looks like Gare du Nord, but I'll wait for an official confirmation. People could be panicking for nothing. No one talked about that yet, so yeah.
Of course, that goes without saying. My point is that in past few years there was has been a wave of Islamophobia in Europe, and now with these two attacks in France it's gonna come even harder. It's sad that these good people will suffer major backlash and prejudice because of these.... monsters using their religion to spread terror.
They absolutely won't be on the same level as this, because those cities (and countries in general) will be far more prepared. Though I'd question if they're decoy targets to get attention focused on, say, DC, and not NYC or Chicago or LA
Just a little suggestion for future posts, if you're gonna put news or breaking update can you post a receipt or link? Just so everyone is on track and updated on what's happening and there's no extra panic
