Emerald does seem out of place. I don't remember it at ALL tbh. But all the other ones were so great.

I love the idea that every trainer chosen to have a pokedex has a specific skill like Breeder, Catcher, Battler. It made the characters much more profound. And the villains are actually intimidating and evil. I'm gonna need a complete pokemon reboot tbh.

Or at least a spin off where its aimed at an audience with a developed brain.

A series aimed at people over 15 would be perfect. There could be proper character development, pokemon deaths and threats from evil teams etc.

I think the problem with Emerald (and also FRLG and Platinum) is that they spent so long on the RS chapter that they had to rush through a bunch of other chapters and also the Wally mess.

For me the arcs go: DP > GSC > RBG > RS > Yellow > FRLG > Plat > Emerald > HGSS

i only read the rgb adventures but it was basically everything the anime should have been. the games should also take note from them as well

pokemon in general should mature anyway, there are reports saying that their average demographic now is 19-24 years old whereas with gen iv it was more around the 7-12 range (nn @ yokai watch stealing all the young newcomers)

Replaying XY, and notice how annoying it is that I'm consantly interrupted by these kids because they want to show me something or whatever. I'm not interested in 5 minute conversations about **** I don't care about. It's actually annoying, especially between the first and second gym.

they should have a tutorial off mode, where the characters don't irrupt you to tell you about stupid **** that has been in the game since generation 1
