Earlier today, Mariah Carey tweeted that the official video for "The Stygian Chevalier" is done and it serves as the Part II from the DJ Clue Dark Remix version of "Libidinous Dream" music video. It will be uploaded on her Vevo and YouTube channel shortly. The news was confirmed by Camouflage Records CEO himself, stating that it is her best music video in years. He also revealed the director for the music video and the collaborations made for the video. The outfits in the music video will be personally created from both Donatella Versace and Dolce & Gabbana. The director was revealed to be Mariah's long-time friend Brett Ratner which has directed Mariah's old music videos in the past such as "Heartbreaker", "It's Like That" and "We Belong Together" which has received rave reviews. The hashtag #MCnewvid and #TheStygianChevalier was trending for the past 6 hours on Twitter since its announcement by Camouflage Records and Mariah herself. The storyline of the video is found below:

A faint sound of heartbeat could be heard during the start of the video. The setting was in the hospital, where doctors and nurses were seen scrambling around, trying to save the already dead Mariah as shown in the last video. After multiple times in an effort to revive her, the scene shows the electrocardiography as it blackens out. But after that, Mariah was seen unconscious on a hospital bed and it was revealed that Mariah survived the incident which happened from the last video. The screen then blackens out with only the words "7 months later....". The scene then appears, showing the logo of the CIA. Sounds of high heel shoes was heard as the camera changes scene to a lady's walking in an empty white corridor. It was revealed to be Mariah as the camera moves closer and closer to her face. A few seconds later, she stopped in front of a tinted white door and knocked on the door. "Come in !!", a voice of an unknown man came from inside the room as Mariah stepped into the room. The unknown man was then revealed to be her boss as the camera zooms in on his tag. A brief conversation is down below.
Boss: Are you sure you wanna do this ?
MC: Yes, I'm totally fine. I know I just came out from the hospital but this job is my first priority and I am loving it. I am not as compassionate and sympathetic as before so don't worry about me.
Boss: Ok. Here's the case you need to handle......
The camera shows the file named "Confidential File #212" as the boss was seen explaining the details of the investigation to Mariah of a recent mass killing and it could be due to a huge crime syndicate that is doing it behind the scenes. The scene then switches and it is revealed that it is almost night time, as Mariah came out from a black limousine in a sleek white long sequin dress which showed off a good amount of her cleavage and her curves. She also wore a pair of white stilettos on her wonderful feet and a golden bangle on her left hand to compliment the dress. She was seen walking into a high class 1915-inspired restaurant as the waiter lead her to an empty seat. She called a glass of water and turned her head as she saw a possible member of the crime syndicate. She went towards him and seduced him to a local 1920s-inspired motel across the street. After that, she drugged him and tied him up. That poor guy woke up just to find Mariah pointing a gun to his head as she threaten the guy to reveal the crime syndicate's hideout in which the guys nervously replied her the location. The song intro finally kicks in as Mariah was seen pulling the trigger of the gun as blood splatter across the room.
As the chorus kicks in, Mariah, now wearing a shiny black top, with a pair of jeans and still wearing her white stilettos was seen to have arrived and is dropped off by her black limousine at the suspected crime syndicate's location which is revealed to be a harbour. People of different races, sizes and age start appearing and trying surrounding Mariah. "What are you doing here ? You know you are trespassing in a prohibited area. We will not call the cops if you pleasure us to a night we all won't forget !!!" said a white guy as the other men tried to hold her down. They tried to hold her down but with no avail as Mariah knocked them all unconscious within seconds. The gangsters start increasing as Mariah knocked all of them down one by one, and some with a slow motion effect to add the intensity of the scene. Mariah was seen searching for vital information to capture the already huge crime syndicate in each room. The audio stops when Mariah found a document that indicates a huge plan human trafficking in the works. Mariah then had flashbacks of her in the abandoned mansion found in the last video where she also found documents which indicated human trafficking too. Tears was welling up in her eyes and she was crumbling the document in anger when she heard a loud noise outside the room as the song came back playing.
The room's door broke opened as she fought her way out. Mariah then ran towards a dim-lighted room on top of the whole building to hide. She quickly locked the door and catch a breath. She then continue to scavenge for more vital information after she was seen resting for a moment. When the bridge kick in, the camera zooms towards the office table and it was revealed that a man was hiding there all this while. The man was revealed to be Mariah's boyfriend from the last video when the camera zooms into his face. He tried killing her again but failed this time as Mariah had fall down on a pile of books and the bullet hit the wall. Mariah found out and kicked his gun off his hands, which she then held a gun towards him.
The audio stops for the last time as Mariah had a conversation with her boyfriend. "Mariah, I know you won't pull the trigger b**tch, you are those insecure girl who think she can get love from a playboy. And why didn't you die from that bullet I shot at you ??", Mariah's boyfriend said to her which she replied: "You know that I'm known as the Stygian Chevalier these months because I turned cold and there is no emotions in me. And I'm lucky I was able to survive that bullet, so that I can take revenge on you.". She then went and shot one of his leg and he screamed in agony as the audio slowly comes back. Please, you can't do this !! I'm.....I'm your boyfriend !!!". "Sorry, you are not my boyfriend any more. That guy has already died 7 months ago in my heart". A gunshot was heard in the midst of the audio as blood was seen splattering across the room. The scene then blackens out again with the words "Part III coming soon. The 8 and a half minute video have since received backlash from parents and religious groups for the mature content and it is deemed even more darker than the music video of "Libidinous Dream" (DJ Clue Dark Remix) by some critics because it features Mariah killing people without mercy and the crime syndicate incident. Despite all the negative backlash it has received, it has also gotten positive attention from the media and fans too. "Mariah's newest video is a beautiful short of art, and people who don't understand it, can F**k off." a fan typed out his views on Twitter. The video had also received 18 million views combined after being uploaded on both Vevo and YouTube channel and has also received 92% "thumbs up" for the video so far.
