I can understand why Taylor`s team thought this contract was a good idea. It has given her a lot of international exposure. I bet that was the aim. I think there's a good chance she'll perform Safe & Sound. Last year, she had the perfect chance to perform it: it was fresh and new and the Civil Wars were there (and even introduced her). I think they wasted that opportunity to save it for this year when it was actually nominated, eh? Ugh I'm just doing wishful thinking but it'd be awesome if it happened this year
