I don't think cohesion always has to do with song order.

In terms of sound it's more cohesive in my opinion. I think there's more consistency. Rated R had good songs but they didn't sound like they all belonged on the same album. Even though Unapologetic dabbles in different sounds the only song that feels out of place to me is Nobody's Business.

Um just glad they're no long rushing out singles like they did before Unapologetic. I'll never forget the disastrous result of them sending out YDO so early while WFL was huge.

There is no reason for them to send another one out until the middle of April.

Work is getting 10 weeks at #1.

Also, I just listened to Rated R in full since ANTi dropped and I can confidently say that I think both ANTi and Unapologetic are stronger albums than Rated R. I'm probably in the minority, but I really think the only place Rated R has them beat is in the ballads. Other than that, I think both ANTi and Unapologetic are more cohesive and have better quality songs.

The lie...Rated R is Rih's most cohesive album in terms of image and song content.

I like Rihanna. I've always liked Rihanna. Now I LOVE Rihanna. I always thought she was just a vocalist who makes good music who can't really perform that well or sing too great. I was WRONG. Totally Wrong. Her vocals were AMAZING, her personality is AMAZING, her style was AMAZING, her everything was amazing. I'm really shocked. Like REALLY shocked. When I look at cohesion, I'm looking at more of the sound than lyrical content and themes (which is the approach everyone else seems to be taking). So when I say Unapologetic is cohesive, I mean that all the songs sound good together. I feel like Rated R is more cohesive in theme but I don't think that all of the production works together.

Subject matter of the songs for the most part (to me atleast) and how well those songs interrelate with eachother.

Genre(s) to lesser extent but it can work (Anti) or doesn't (Unapologetic)

I dont think Anti would flow as well if she included BBHMM and AO2 on it. FourFiveSeconds might have worked on it.

I'd have said ANTI if you asked me this question during the first week of its release, but the album takes you from Consideration to Sex With Me without feeling that the songs feel out of place. It's so smooth and organised.

So maybe Unapologetic or TTT?

I dont really count the bonus tracks on Anti apart of the album

Una is a mess, but still has some of her best songs of her career and her best album behind Anti so i hate to say its the least cohesive
