She needs to lower that mess. I just realized the Formation MV doesn't come with the album.
But you're right, it'll be $50 for the Grammy winning AOTY.
I'll unstan for the 30983rd time.

She really does. When I went to walmart to buy it. I seriously almost put it back and was gonna get Talk That Talk and unapologetic and some rotisserie chicken instead

My sister was gonna buy it yesterday after having to look for it behind other albums, but then she saw the price and put it down slowly saying "I'm so sorry Beyoncé". It was kinda funny.

Lemonade doesn't need a platinum edition. I love 7/11 but it sort of cheapened the album, especially the DrIL and Blow remixes
I'm very disheartened that we have no news of a tour special. But after MCSWT I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get one.

That Blow remix is probably the worst thing she's ever done. She already wasn't winning AOTY, but that just sealed the deal. No more platinum editions AFTER the fact.

I don't know why she just didn't leave ST how it was and just release 7/11 as a free song to hold the fans over.

Maybe she was lowkey trying to sabotage Pharrell by including his demo vocals on it because, girl, Idk how anyone could vote for him after hearing that

She definitely undershipped ST and Lemonade. If you look at Buzzangle you'll see how Lemonade would always place like 20 spots above in digital album sales than in physical sales. There's no reason for this to happen other than undershipping since she used to sell more physicals than digitalis than the average artist.
Another thing you can look at to confirm this is by looking at kworb.net and observe how well she's doing in so many countries for both Lemonade and ST, meanwhile other albums are selling about the same WW are doing terrible on that chart. I believe that's why she's doing so terrible WW with Lemonade even though she's doing so great on iTunes. (iTunes isn't strong in markets outside of the US) Beyoncé is s lot more global than Lemonade suggests and the FWT proves.
Look at this. Anti is selling the same as Lemonade outside the US, but the difference in WW iTunes positions Is very obvious. Anti is selling way more physicals.

I also don't need a Platinum Edition.
For Selftitled she never should have added the (tacky) remixes.
I always saw Selftitled as the main movie, and 7/11 as the end credits to that movie, so as a sort of goodbye, that is why it never cheapened the album for me, because I never saw it as an actual part of the main event.
I kinda wish she would release a B-Side and rarity album one day, with a few discs of material that she never shared the way they should, bonus material that never got the time to shine etc. She easily could include the Daddy Lessons remix on that, Die With You, Woman Like Me, B'Day bonus material (like Back Up which is limited available on one edition), the original Standing On The Sun etc.

I've always wondered why they aren't putting stuff like that on Tidal. When I was promised exclusives I thought it would be that kind of stuff, not "exclusive" playlists from random artists I've never even heard of
I see why they don't, though. Unreleased music could theoretically taint an artist's legacy, I suppose.

I will never forget just jamming out with ST on shuffle. Blow came on and hoe mode was activated. Here I was, innocently dipping it low, twirling and popping, and them ****** vocals appear like a wild Pokemon out of the woods. I have hated the song since. She was dead ass wrong and he was even wronger. WRONGER, I say.

And the fact she had another, better Blow remix unofficially released. This woman

And lets be real. Tidal is never going to amount to being a decent streaming competitor. EVER. There is no good reason why she won't put her music on the other paid streaming services, other than obtuse loyalty to that beast. Tidal ain't ****. Where are the exclusives from the major artists that stood on the stage? A playlist? *****, Obama got a playlist on SPOTIFY. The **** out of here. She's not putting her performances up there and she's not putting her MVs on there. Isn't that the point? To present something on the service no one else has access to? Trollé.

Part of me thinks they overestimated their power and were swiftly shut down by the labels. I'm not fully educated on the industry but I don't see why she wouldn't put her performances on Tidal unless they were being held back by someone else.
Or maybe it's a case of MTV, for example, saying that if she won't let them put it on their website then they won't let her put it on Tidal.

True, but in Bey's case, and especially in the trolling move of the last years, it would be cute if she would bundle some of the material she has basically 'tried' to preview or release anyways. I mean when we can get two seperate cover versions of Fever and Wishing On A Star being released on iTunes, I don't see why she should be ashamed to officially share the original version of Standing On The Sun or even going way back to Woman Like Me. Because those songs are anywhere near an embarrassment, so if she does it gracefully it would hardly taint her legacy. And in an era where Greatest Hits are pointless, this could be a nice way to look back at her catalogue in some years. But with Bey in her current supposed mindset, this probably won't happen anyways

I have yet to buy the physical version of BEYONCÉ. Should I buy the platinum just because why not? I don't really care for the remixes and etc.
