Michael J. Fox Would Not Want Taylor Swift to Date His Son
Remember at the Golden Globes, when Tina Fey told serial dater Taylor Swift to "stay away from Michael J. Fox's son," Sam? That was a pretty amazing moment. So you can imagine how thrilled we were to relive it with the elder Fox himself last night at a book party for Ann Leary's The Good House. Would Fox approve of a Sam/Taylor (Saylor) love connection? we asked. "No. No ... Just back off," he told us. "I don’t keep up with it all," he said. "But Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right?" Right! "What a way to build a career." So if Swift showed up to a Fox family dinner (possibly wearing her fox sweater), how would he react? "I wouldn’t even know who she was," he said. But it'd probably dawn on him after the breakup song hit the radio. "Yeah, exactly," he said. "'Sam, You Piece of ****.' Oh … that was the girl you brought home!"
Right? He's looking for some publicity and it's on the right timing, the Lord is getting a bit backlash. He thinks bandwagon-ing in it is cool and will push his public profile. So transparent. Kii.
We both experienced the same things at the same time. But we’ve never once talked about our industry. She just became the person I’d go to for an issue with my family or boyfriend. It’s so hard to trust girls, so I’m lucky to have her.
Hopefully the bad press will blow over soon and Taylor will release All Too Holy and win everyone over again. She needs a break from dating though still if she survived the 2010 Grammy fiasco she'll get through this.
I kind of wish she wasn't doing European promo next week. She needs to disappear until the Grammys. I'm so nervous about her performance - if she's off-key or makes any mistake, this backlash is going to get completely out of control.
