I mean I am not against her doing the world cup song, but the world cup anthems are in most cases very tacky songs. I mean last time we had that awful Pitbull song and Shakira with an okay song and before that we had Shakira with a decent enough song. But there is also a lot of trash that has been served

Ofcourse it is a big platform, but I feel Bey will be wasting her time investing in it. Ofcourse she will show again that she is the best the business has to offer (like usual). But I don't see her being allowed to express herself explicit like she was allowed to on The Superbowl (this year) and with the way she is moving artistically, I feel the World Cup won't expand her as an artist, it would be only just a cute gig. Ofcourse it would be a great way to launch a new worldtour and to gain even more buzz with a possible tour announcement, but beside that and the way she is handling her singles and her craft. I don't see anyone winning when Bey does the Worlcup.
I see the potential it could have, but connecting the overall dots, I don't think it will add up the way people would expect. Unless she randomly would pull A Superbowl/Mrs. Carter situation and serve a Grown Woman at the World Cup.
I am not saying she is too big for the World Cup though, just saying iT won't happen unless she would be able to make a statement (not even like Formation, but she surely would want creative freedom to express the way she feels like) to Some sort and i don't think FIFA is open to that. The best place for iT to have happened was probably between B'Day and IASF eras. We all know a lot of Things began to shift after that.
