NBC’s The Voice, despite getting off to a somewhat quieter start with its third season, managed to eke out a small yet significant win over Fox’s The X Factor premiere in head-to-head competition on Wednesday night. For the night, both singing shows averaged a 3.3 demo rating. But in their shared hour at 8 o’clock, The Voice scored a 3.3 to X Factor‘s 2.7. And in total audience, NBC outdrew Fox 10.7 million viewers to 7.5 mil.
I just cannot, 7.5 million.
The lowest in last season was 8.5 and this is the PREMIERE
I think the ratings will be a lot higher tonight with the voice not being on. Though I'm still shocked. All signs seemed to point to x factor being the most popular last night.
i am shocked too i thought Voice is no competition still can't believe that Demi and Briteny stan didn't glued to TV to watch their fave 1st time judging on such such a big platform
i don't think people r here for Simon and L.A.(sorry he is irrelevant so i don't even know his last name )
They're gonna climb though, XF did really well in the second hour.
I think at the end XF will still get higher ratings than The Voice..... but we'll see.
i doubt it will increase i mean generally reality show's ratings(specially singing shows) show decline graph with negative slope
lol just wanted to add sum mathematical terms
I'm sure X Factor last year increased as it went on? Thats what they used against the Voice, Voice always declines after auditions and X Factor did better after auditions last year
