I always have them on my heart, they're legends of our generation imo. And I'm so thankful for bringing so much amazing stuff to the industry. But I believe they sold out after "Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends". I feel that was their last authentic album. Although, I still enjoy songs love "Paradise" and "A Sky Full of Stars" But it's just not the same feeling. AOAL is acclaimed 'cause it's about the amazing better than our faves JLaw, clearly.

"Clocks" is my favorite Coldplay song, and that goes WAAAYYYYY back to their first album (2003).

Edit: I stand corrected. "Clocks" was from their second album, not their first.

It could get an advantage due to the lower overall download sales. Carey's fan base (and I forgot y'alls name, I'm sorry, no disrespect intended at all) will need to stream the song a lot though to get it into the Top 20.

I don't think Adele will let go of #1 on the Hot 100 anytime soon. Coldplay may have to wait a while. I like them okay, but they're not favorite "Rock" band. I'm not really sure if they're even really Rock. Alternative/AAA is a better label for Coldplay, as I don't see their music in the same genre as the Foo Fighters, whose music tops both the Rock and Alternative Charts.

I think it's my favorite song too. Sometimes it's Teardrop. But Clocks is from their 2nd album.
And yes, they are not a Rock band. Just this week Chris said "people want us to be a Rock band but I don't think we never were one" Their songs never chart on the Rock AirPlay chart anyway (at least the one on Kworb) They rule HotAc, Alt and AAA. Those 3 are their core formats

Just read this. How can Viva be their last authentic album when it doesn't sound anything like the previous ones?
Ghost Stories (sans ASFOS) sounds more like the old Coldplay than Viva

You know more about them than I do. Yellow was the first song I knew of by them. I didn't care much for it, but I loved Clocks that closely followed Yellow. I still consider Clocks a 2000s classic.
