I haven't watched ANy of the treehouse footage but I'm just going to assume that FExPersona/Tokyo Mirage was the highlight of the entire event anyway
So I watched the e3 2016 trailer for the game and skimmed through the 30 minute video of the treehouse. And I do have to say that if there was also English audio I would easily say this is clearly the best game on the Wii U. I just want to bop along to the music in English

Color Splash is gorgeous visually, and it looks kind of fun. Not the Paper Mario I want, but I'm optimistic. I would love a Paper Mario 64 or a TTYD remake with these graphics, since we're never getting another Paper Mario RPG. I'm not mad about the director's views on the series and it's future, but I do disagree with her. It's nice for the series to experiment, but the series has lost the two things that really made it special: the gameplay (64 and TTYD) and the story and characters (PM, TTYD, and Super Paper Mario). The comments, as usual, are doing too much.
The Banjo-Kazooie dialogue is so perfect and I love games where you go around collecting stuff, but the controls are HORRID. The level I just beat with the giant shark thing where you have to swim around If there's another level with a lot of swimming, I'm just gonna quit.

The swimming mechanics are literally so ****ed up. I died in that level and never went back.
gorls I'm about to kms over Color Splash and the fact that woman who gamexplain interviewed saying that if they wanted a RPG then they should play Mario & Luigi. KILL
Color Splash has amazing visuals, I would buy it just for that. Idk if it isn't like the first 2 games, if I wanted something like that I would replay them
They still have about 8 months to fix YL and it is the only game they're focused on. I am glad they didn't pull a Might No. 9, which actually got more funding
