I for one am not shading. I am simply evaluating her itunes performance. This thread is not only about frolicking if our fave is successful.
I like Bey, I own albums by her and will buy 4 but sorry, anybody who follows ITunes will see that her two singles have performed very lukewarm.
Sure, the new single is far from done but its first day has been disappointing. It's a second single which is not available on an album and it is ba BEYfu**ingONCE. It should do more on its first day.

I know what you mean. In todays music it gets harder and harder to distinct genres. But I think that's a good thing.
I think it unifies music listeners and we see it on ITunes. I think there is a great variety of styles that can find success.
