I wish HWR would send LOVESONG to stations other than POP for adds.
She's gained the average AI on pop but the other songs have higher AI's because they get played on Rhytmic, HAC, etc.

Does someone knows why Selena's videos are never played or added in Vh1's playlist?

I've always thought it's because she still part of Disney (Demi's Skyscraper was picked up but she was not in Disney anymore), but Miley's videos since "The Climb" has been added to their playlists and Miley was still in Disney... It's not much but having the video played in other channels might help too...

VH1 is kinda weird in that they play the more irritating Disney artists (Miley, Demi) over likable artists (Hilary, Selena). It may have something to do with how VH1 perceives them vocally. Or perhaps HR's commitment to getting the artists they believe are more passionate about music to get played on stations outside of Pop.

I think it's because Selena is still considered by many people "The Innocent Disney Princess". After what Demi went through in her life, the rehab and stuff, she's kinda respected by adults right now. After all of Miley scandals, even though it kinda damaged her reputation, now people don't consider her the Disney little girl. Selena's been the lucky one because she has stayed out of trouble, she's nice, and the most likeable girl that has been on the Disney Franchise, but apparently that's not interesting enough for Vh1, MTV and all of those TV Channels.

Selena gets played on MTV. VH1 tends to play more obscure artists and the most popular artists (ala Katy, Gaga, etc.) They're not about how innocent an artist is.
