It's pretty rare for someone not to perform the song that's nominated for ROTY and SOTY so I don't see her not doing it. At least if she does Formation and the Prince tribute we get choreo and vocals

The Beautiful Ones will be a cute reminder to the "Bey can't sing" folks with selective memory that she actually can sing, but as a fan I'm kinda over her "needing" to constantly prove herself to people who don't matter and I'm sure she is too. I just want a vocal moment, because that's the Bey I initially fell in love with. Formation would be cute or whatever because it's such a bop, but it would feel like such a wasted opportunity if that's era-closing performance because literally every other song on the album represents the album better.

And I hate to be "one of those" stans who make everything about race, but from my understanding only three black women have won AOTY (Whitney, Natalie Cole & Lauryn) and the last time a black woman won AOTY was Lauryn in 1999. As much as she deserves to win, just like she deserved to win with Self-Titled I feel like she'll get snubbed again. I want to be optimistic, but I don't want to be disappointed.

Bey will take most if not all of the r&b voters with drake behind. Bey will also have a huge amount of support from the hip hop Hip hop voters to. Because views connected more with the pop crowd. Drake will lead still but bey will follow closely.+ she has Kendrick. Now I really hope the jack white supporters come thru.
